The building has been designed as a spatial structure covered with a sun screen for a family of three and their dog .
The screen allows the house to open towards the garden by the surrounding terrace and therefore connects it with nature. The wooden
lamellas of the screen filtrate sun light. The thus created 'space in between' enables the family members to stay outside, while still under a roof.
One can enter this cozy terrace directly from the ground floor living room as well as from the bedrooms upstairs, by an outside staircase. |
