The simple form of the building consists of two volumes put one on another - a bigger lower one and a lighter, glass one on top.
The main shape refers to the height of the XIXth century city houses on the other side of the street . Levels 5 and 6 are almost fully glazed
and offset from the lower part, what results in terrace formation. It also optically lowers the building. Moreover, the combination of glazing and stone cladding emphasizes building's prestige. Vertical divisions in the façade are designed so that they resemble high windows
of neighbours, emphesizing big-city elegance and aesthetics. |
